Hello everyone Smile
I had my first initial dose two weeks ago, and tomorrow go for the second one. Had no side effects so far (fingers crossed) so this time should be easier and shorter. I have felt extremely tired though. Not sure if this is related to the med or if it's how I was before and hadn't noticed. Also I was working with the boys from 7.30am-6pm five days a week but now I only do two days, so maybe now I can rest more I'm noticing the fatigue more?
The pain levels are the same, so still on the pain meds, but hoping I can cut them down when the Rituximab kicks in ThumpUp
Hope everyone is doing as well as they can and not too much pain etc Smile

Hi everyone Smile
I had my second dose today and haven't been feeling too good since I got home Sad
Firstly the nurse had a terrible time getting in the cannular, I bruise really easily, and now my bruises are starting to cover large areas. This is now really painful, but then I started getting hot sweats, followed by chills and feeling achey. I just checked and apparently this can be part of the side effects, so hopefully it won't last long. At least its over for now.
Hoping they are the only side effects I suffer from

Hope we don't get too much snow x

Hi Barbara

Hope you are feeling better today.

I had my two doses in December, I also felt really really tired, so i think it is a side effect, apart from that I was ok. But i do remember the nurse saying that some of the symptoms can be flu like. You could always give them a call. Did they give you an information pack?

Take Care
Lou xx
I love people who can make you smile even when you do not feel like smiling. x
